New Castle County is the northern most county and the most affluent. With a population over 500,000 people in the year 2000, it is known as the "Banking Capital" because of Delaware's friendlyness to big business and its Usuary Laws. Here in New Castle County you can find every style home imaginary. Single Family Homes, Townhomes, Townhouses, Condo's, Apartments, Estates, Farms, Investment Properties, the possibitlities are endless. There is also a lot to do in New Castle County. A day at the races, people here enjoy going to Delaware Park. Delaware Park has Horse Racing, Casino and a world class Golf Course (White Clay Country Club). Shopping is also abundent here as there are two large prominent malls, The Christiana Mall and The Concord Mall. Other than the malls, there are tens of hundreds of stores to shop in, Resturants to dine in and the night life is hopping! The people are friendly here in New Castle County. What ever you want, you will find it in New Castle County. Wilmington, Delaware's largest city, has a pro baseball team called the The Blue Rocks, River Front Shopping and Dinning, Museums, Art Galleries, an Opera House and more. Newark is just west of Wilmington, largely known as a college town, it is home of the FIghten Blue Hens. The University of Delaware is well known for its acedemic programs, and its collegean sports teams. The city of Newark is a quaint town with shops up and down Main Street. All through out New Castle County there are great schools and activities for the young and old. Whether it is golf, fishing, boating, riding, walking, soccer, baseball, football, there is always something going on.
