Agave in Lewes, DE
Ok all you foodies out there - this one's for you! Have you tried out Agave in Lewes yet? If you haven't, trust us, you're missing out. It's the fresh and flavorful feel you get at a Chipotle, but on steroids. Agave has an incredible menu. Everything feels super fresh and ripe. Your tongue bursts with every bite of delicious food you taste. Whether it's one of their guacamole dips or an entree, you will sigh with every fork full.
Just this past week, my sister-in-law and I discovered that Agave is actually open during the week days for lunch. Starting February 16th they've started opening at noon! Isn't that the best news you've ever heard? We just so happened to be wandering around Lewes on a Thursday morning, when we noticed a line begin to form in front of a storefront. Upon closer inspection we discovered that it was Agave that was eliciting all the excitement. Luckily for us, we nonchalantly decided to stroll on over and check it out. The doors opened promptly at 12pm to a group of about 15 people that were ready to pounce. The restaurant was full by time we left.
Once we were seated, I perused the menu and to my surprise, saw that the prices were incredibly reasonable. We ordered a Goat Cheese and Nut Guacamole. For those that know me, I'm not huge on goat cheese, but I thought I'd be a good sport. I'm glad I did... It was superb! The chips and guac were only $10 for an appetizer and had to be packaged up afterwards. It was a great size! For my main course, I ordered the spicy chicken quesadillas and would recommend them to anyone that asks. The quesadillas ranged from $10-12 each and then sides could be ordered additionally. Once again, the portion was perfect and I was unable to finish it all. The highest price on the menu was $49 to order fajita's for 2 people. If you were going to Agave on a date, that'd be a wonderful selection. (That's actually what my husband and I ordered the first time we visited Agave on a date night!)
My brief chance encounter with Agave reminded me of how much I love the atmosphere and food. When you walk in, you immediately see authentic decor for the Mexican themed establishment. Then your eyes rest on a glass display of delicious baked goods and truffles. The rustic wood chairs and tables add to the exciting and in it's own right, chic restaurant. Very modern, yet still thematic. Agave is definitely a must see for the next time you have guests in town, or decide to treat yourself for lunch or dinner.
Now for your real estate needs on the other hand, you'll have to check out the Don Williams Realty Group. We're made up of a team of skilled and well qualified agents that love the area and are passionate about helping you find a home in it.
