Flowers by Mayumi couldn't be in a better or more picturesque location than it's current spot on the main street of downtown Lewes, DE. One minute you're browsing clothing racks in a unique boutique and sipping a yummy coffee from Nottinghill Coffee Shop, then the next thing you know, your eyes fall on a flower shop sitting next to it all. 

This adorable shop made quite an impression on my husband and I. (Ok, so more on me than him.) When you walk in, there are flowers, small gifts and gorgeous displays throughout the entire store. Bright colors can't help but make you feel warm and happy on the inside. What I loved most about Flowers by Mayumi, is that they'll do something I had never heard of before. They will actually sell you a single flower and wrap it up beautifully as if it were a full boquet! My hubby surprised me one day at work with one of my favorite flowers, hydrangea, wrapped up in pretty green tissue with a ribbon and bow. It was such a sweet statement, using only one stem of hydrangea. Since then, we've treated many home guests and friends to their own "mini bouquets," and have recognized the power of a real life, fresh scented flower. 

Located at 128 Second Street, Flower by Mayumi is open Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. On Sundays their hours are from 12am to 4pm.
